The Florida Department of Health’s Distance Learning Services Network(DLSN) advertises video conferences, webcasts and satellite broadcasts. These opportunities are available to employees state wide and some are accessible to DOH partnes.

The DLSN provides access to training opportunities, critical information, continuing education credits for health professionals, and other events.

A well-educated public health workforce is vital to the department mission-–protect and promote the health of all residents and visitors in the state through organized state and community efforts, including cooperative agreements with counties.

If you would like to become a partner or have any questions, please call the Network staff at 850-245-4008 or by email

* If you have saved the link to the DLSN schedule to your favorites or in a shortcut, the web address has changed to:https://esetappsdoh.doh.state.fl.us/irm00dln/pages/main.aspx. Please update to ensure you have access to these training opportunities.
* Want to register for a broadcast but do not have a log in, fill out form located at http://survey.doh.state.fl.us/survey/entry.jsp?id=1194462350532
* Due to the change in physical location and the expansion of responsibilities, beginning March 15, 2010, we will no longer be able to provide DVD copies of broadcasts. Archive webcasts will be available for viewing.
* The Office of Workforce Development (WFD) is pleased to announce the new look and enhancements to the Distance Learning Services Network. It allows users to select “videoconference” as an option for training opportunities as well as “satellite” and “webcast.”
* With budget restraints and limited travel to attend trainings and meetings, this added feature will allow WFD to promote more training opportunities for DOH staff.
